While working fulltime I wasn´t able to do much high art for myself. If I did its mostly lifedrawings or sketches. I kept collecting my favourites in a folder for about 1,5 years. I guess its time to finally show them to the world. :)
Those pictures are scans from old sketchbooks and about a year old or even older, but I still like all of them. So don´t expect any concept, those collection is pure chaos. :)
The following pages are from my first months in Berlin. When starting at Wooga I lived in Friedenau and had a 45 minutes way to work. While standing in the crowded train I started sketching other passengers. First I was afraid they would notice it immediatly, but I found out noone minded anyone elses business. Good for me. The street scenes are done while doing my laundry in a "waschsalon".
And here is a younger chaos collection:
And last but not least a finished piece. A old gift for my girlfriend. I think its about 1,5 years old.
I hope you like it.
Thanks and cheers,
O

More GameArt
Hey there.
I decided to make this blog accessible for a broader audience, thats why I will switch to english from now on.
Since June I am working as an GameArtist for Wooga. Its a really nice startup with a awesome working atmosphere. The last few month I did assets for their recent release: "MagicLand". Here is a Best-of:
(Sidenote: The green grass background texture was done by Alberto Madrigal, aswell as basic designs of the some crops and a few icons. Osiris Falcão did the ship on the river.)
GoodgameStudios, my former employer, released "Goodgame Empire" for which I did some unit designs. So I think I can show them now:
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed.
Cheers.
